( WE ARE WHAT WE EAT, PART2)
DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME, REMEMBRANCE BRINGS REFLECTION IN THE MIRROR, OF GOD'S WORD SEEING FORM, DIGESTING THE WORD GOD, BY BEING A DOER OF THE WORD, ARE CHANGED INTO THAT SAME IMAGE, FROM GLORY TO GLORY, CHANGING FORM, THE LIFE OF CHRIST BEING MANIFESTED IN OUR EARTHLY HOUSE, THE NEW MAN.
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread, For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread, And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me, After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me, For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come, But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves, For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass, For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was, But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God, My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren, But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof, Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him, But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
